The Grudge

Description

The Grudge dives straight into the basement, featuring a harder and tighter wobble action that better mimics pelagic baitfish. Here's why we made it: For casting onto rock piles or steeper breaks and cranking it down until it ticks bottom, pausing on the rocks, then walking the bait all the way down into the depths. It's a killer musky lure, but largemouth bass guys.

The lure is super-hard to make. If it's too light, it won't work. It weighs too much...it won't work. Lip is too long or not long enough, it won't work. It's a stubborn, fickle, ornery lure to make — which is why we tank-test every single one of them. And it's one of the reasons its named The Grudge.
